Gert Emmens & Ruud Heij - Silent Witnesses Of Industrial Landscapes (2008)

Gert Emmens and Ruud Heij first met in 1997, both being member of a Dutch club for Electronic Music lovers. It took a number of years before they started to collaborate, in 2003.
Recording sessions take place in both of the studio's of Ruud of Gert, but after Gert moved to a smaller place, the sessions mostly are in Ruud's studio in Utrecht Netherlands.
The recordings are based on improvisation. When getting together in the studio, Ruud starts to develop a sequence, using on of his sequencers and the huge Symthesizer.COM modular mostly. While Ruud is doing this, Gert tries some melodies and chordchanges over this sequences. Once the sequence is programmed it is just a matter of pressing the record buttion and they start playing and see what happens. During the recording, Ruud changes the sequences. That ;eads to a basic track. Mostly two or three versions are being recorded. Afterwards, it is mostly Gert, who completes the tracks and mixes and masters them.

Code Indigo - E-Live Special Edition (2006)

Code Indigo is one of those hard to categorise electronic avant-garde bands whose music and concept albums cross genres and has wide appeal.
The music is original, with thematic compositions, an imaginative combination of synths, keyboards, guitar, samples and rhythms plus a good helping of experimental, ambient and down tempo chill out influences. The music compares to that of a ‘Blade Runner’ style soundtrack, with Pink Floyd and Art of Noise influences.
The band was founded in 1994 by David Wright and Robert Fox. It has undergone many changes over the years and a different line-up on every release, with only David Wright involved in them all.
Code Indigo released what was reported to be it’s final album ‘Take the Money and Run’ in 2015 and officially stopped live performances the same year.
The current line up is David Wright and Robert Fox (Synths & keys), with Dave Massey (rhythm sequencing and bass programming) and Carys (vocals).
The "E-Live Special Edition" album was released by AD Music in a limited run.

Sergey Kolesnikov ‎– Early Dreams (2012)

Sergey Kolesnikov is a musician from Russia writing new age, ambient, and berlin school music.
"Such a long history of mankind, numbering tens of millennia, is dappled with white specks of obscurity. We know only scattered episodes from life of the ancient ancestors, which they tried to transmit to next generations as much as possible. Great volume of knowledge is lost, destroyed or kept back by destructive progress, aiming to the future like an arrow without looking back, while the past is being covered by sands of time, and myths and legends come to surrogate invaluable traditions. We can only guess, how the ancient looked at natural phenomena, which thoughts and conceptions emerged in their mind. Most likely they comprehended things even better than we do in our dashing time, as they had a whole eternity for thinking and observation. Crumbs of knowledge, conjectures and speculations, which were able to collect, are expressed here by traditional electronic music in the Berlin school style."

Dream Control - Zeitgeber (2017)

Dream Control is the collaboration of a legend of the Krautrock Kosmiche scene and a pioneer of the German electronic scene. Zeus B. Held, renowned producer (Gina X Performance and works under his own moniker) and Steve Schroyder (former member of Tangerine Dream during their formative period) team up to deliver their debut album “Zeitgeber” which celebrates their very own sound and rhythm in a cosmic journey through audio and time. The tracks are a blend of structured compositions and improvisations accented by the throat singing of Kolja Simon und Felix Mönnich aka AlienVoices. The album plays like a Technicolor adventure through space with explorations of cosmic disco, dreamlike passages, vocoder lullabies, and space odysseys. Zeus B. Held began his musical career in 1972 in French progressive art-rock band Eruption before joining successful German prog rock group Birth Control, performing and writing with them 1973 – 1978. He was one of the first musicians to use the Sennheiser Vocoder VSM 201 in his live sets. Zeus’ production work with cult project Gina X Performance transformed him into an electronic specialist producer settling down in London for over 20 years. In his London studio he worked with artists including John Foxx, Dead or Alive, Men Without Hats, Transvision Vamp and Gary Numan, did a series of international soundtracks and further productions with Nina Hagen and Udo Lindenberg. After numerous trips around the globe he composed and produced a collection of his own albums (which Medical released a hand-picked selection in 2015). Steve Schroyder started to develop his musical vision with an electronic organ and his own films. He founded the group Turning Free giving a string of improvised concerts in Berlin clubs before meeting Edgar Froese in 1970 to mutually further develop the vision of ‘cosmic music’ resulting in recording the Tangerine Dream albums Alpha Centauri and Zeit. In 1972 he left TD and joined Ash Ra Temple. Further creative collaborations and projects include Scarecrew, Augenstern, Star Sounds Orchestra, various trance productions, Anne Clark, Alien Voices and Star Sound Kontinuum. The tracks have been expertly mastered for vinyl by Zeus B. Held. Limited Edition.
