Steve Jolliffe – Magical: In Memory Of Edgar Froese 1944-2015
After the Tangerine Dream album "Cyclone", Jolliffe left the band for a solo career. Since then he has made numerous albums in various styles new age, berlin-school electronic, ambient, experimental and psychedelic.
In 2015 he wrote the album "Magical" in memory of his friend Edgar Froese of Tangerine Dream who died that year. The music in this album is ambient with short moments of Berlin-school electronic music. There lots of ethereal pads, choral melodies, and synthesiser fx. Fans of Tangerine Dream will enjoy this album.
Each album sleeve is unique and custom hand-painted by Steve with watercolors and is signed and dated. The date depends on when the cover was painted, not the issue date of the music. The CDr is also usually signed and comes in a plastic sleeve.
